If you're reading this, that means you've gotten me for the summer exchange! (I promise that I won't be too difficult to work with, hehe.) I'm generally a fan of all sorts of ships in this fandom and I hope we can be friends after if we aren't already. This year, I'm going to try to stick with general themes for things I'd like ~love~ to read as opposed to fixing them to ships. (So that means mixing and matching ships you see fit to the themes I've provided!! Please don't attempt all of them!) So, without further ado, here we go!
For reference, here are the ships I've requested - you can feel free to either keep this gen or romo (but honestly romantic bokuroo is my bread and butter)
pikachu mascots in yokohama (for reference, this is what I'm talking about)
I requested this last time around too (and no one picked it up HAHA) but this is something I'd really love to see. It can be an AU where they're meeting for the first time, or a post-canon where they've reunited through their mutual side jobs as dancing pikachu mascots. And by all means, don't restrict them to being in costumes all the time! I just want it to play some sort of role in this fic, because at the core of it, seeing a more slice of life / city life (I'M ALWAYS A SUCKER FOR BOTH) is what's important. But please help me live out my dreams. (Also, if you decide to keep it in-canon, feel free to use the corresponding moniker "tikachu" instead of pikachu)
magical realism au
I'll let you go wild with this one, too! This one might be a hard one to tackle though (because god knows it's hard for me to write usually) but I'd love to see this implemented somehow - where the surreal might pervade ever so slightly into a mundane setting (and it's not considered out of the ordinary or anything). Bonus if it's set in like, the 90's! in the countryside/city somewhere! ~With cool 90's aesthetics~

A love story told through stickers, somehow. Like the cute kind with lil pop up animals on them. Like accidentally putting one on X character's butt. But in all seriousness, I'd love for this to be set in-canon, with their high schools in the backdrop! (This might be hard for pairings that don't go to school together). Passing notes, friends-to-lovers, vending machine hangouts, hiding spots, urban legends. This is really the stuff I love, love, love. Slice of life, some emotional swelling. THE GOOD LIFE
BTS - RUN video aesthetic au (for reference, here is the video)
Hi all! So I'm not like super huge on K-pop, but one video I really, really like is this particular MV by BTS. I love the filmy aesthetic, the string lights, the house of cards, the tiny little instances of magical realism (with that train car totally being bigger on the inside). I would love some kind of fic utilizing this aesthetic (and it doesn't necessarily have to follow the storyline of the MV). Give me runaway boys! Running around! Tomfoolery! A side of emotional flux!

Hey so I'm a sucker for anything with gods and demons and whatnot and I'd really love anything that might be a reworked version of a folk tale or an urban legend! I don't really have any other parameters for this, except maybe no western mythology, please! So get wild with your youkai AUs! Also, bonus for historical elements but it's really up to you. Here's an example of what someone drew for me the first time I entered this exchange (and tbh it's just an excuse to show off this comic because like. i love crying about it)
